ABOUT ME
I have always loved all types of animals. Jane Goodall's work with chimpanzees inspired me (back in the 70s!) to do a Science degree in Psychology which included zoology and animal behaviour. However, after graduating, my thirst to explore new countries and cultures led me to qualify as an English teacher. I have worked in England, but most of my teaching career was spent on the African continent, where I was privileged to experience the magic of nature and the warmth of its people.
Meanwhile. I was continually drawn to various aspects of healing, starting with Reiki (Reiki Shiki Ryoho: levels I and II) which has
been part of my life since 1990. My family, friends and pets enjoyed receiving healing while it inspired and supported my own personal development, leading me to new experiences and realisations.
Working in a hectic school environment, I was particularly interested in stress management. This led me to practise Hatha yoga and meditation, and to train as a lay guidance counsellor. I also integrated crystal therapy and aromatherapy into my daily life.

I knew I wanted to eventually work as a full-time holistic therapist and share my insights and skills with other people, but there was something missing. I had become very aware of the plight of both domestic and wild animals, and I felt it was time not only to become an animal healer but also to speak up on their behalf. After returning to England in 2009, I was thrilled to meet Elizabeth Whiter who offered exactly the type of training and support that I needed. Elizabeth is a dedicated and professional healer, author of her fascinating book 'The Animal Healer' and founder of the Healing Animals Organisation. I am now a graduate of the Diploma in Animal Healing and a fully insured member of HAO. Please see my Home Page and www.healinganimals.org for further details.

Jenny Shone, www.animalhealing.co.za,
introduced me to animal communication and I subsequently trained with her teacher, Amelia Kinkade, an inspirational animal communicator who assists veterinarians, animal rescue organisations and animal lovers all over the world. I highly recommend her two books: 'Straight from the Horse's Mouth' and 'The Language of
